A Brighter Future (ABF) is a not-for-profit company incorporated in 2006 to promote entrepreneurship with a particular emphasis on the creative industries. ABF delivers opportunities for young people to develop their creative and enterprise skills, confidence and professional experience, through establishing and running supported micro enterprises.
The aim is to bring about positive change in young people - raising aspirations, developing vital life skills, creating a positive, enthusiastic attitude and helping them to recognise the value of learning/education in working towards future goals. Delivery ranges from half-day taster workshops to year-long accredited enterprise programmes
In the last year we have formed key partnerships with Social Enterprises and Training Consortia to provide information and guidance on training and business start-up; capacity building; access to employment and delivery of NVQ in Business and Administration. ABF is an accredited centre for NCFE Enterprise qualifications and is currently working towards Matrix Accreditation.
